Delete Learned Words and Keyboard Data on OnePlus auf OnePlus
Gboard on OnePlus builds a personal dictionary from everything you type, including typos, nicknames, and one-off entries. Over time this learned word data grows large enough to outrank the predictions you actually want, especially after switching between languages or typing a lot of names and slang.
Clearing this data does not remove Gboard itself and does not reset your keyboard layout, themes, or installed languages. Only the prediction history and personal dictionary entries are wiped, so the app has to relearn your typing habits from scratch.
Where to find the reset option
Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Languages & input ➔ Tap on Virtual keyboard ➔ Tap on Gboard ➔ Tap on Advanced ➔ Tap on Delete learned words and data ➔ Enter the displayed number and tap OK.
The confirmation step asking you to enter a displayed number exists to prevent an accidental reset, since this action cannot be undone once confirmed.
If wrong suggestions keep showing up after clearing, check whether a second keyboard app is active under Virtual keyboard. Each installed keyboard keeps its own separate learned word data.
