Turn Flashlight On or Off auf OnePlus
The flashlight function on OnePlus phones uses the rear camera flash as a light source. It sits in the quick settings panel of the status bar, not in a separate app, which is why some users cannot find it right away.
To turn it on or off, swipe with two fingers to open the quick settings panel. From there, tap the flashlight tile to enable or disable it: Swipe with two fingers to open the quick settings ➔ Enable or disable Flashlight.
Why the tile sometimes seems missing
If the flashlight tile is not visible on the first quick settings screen, it may have been moved or removed during a layout edit. Swipe sideways within the quick settings panel or check the edit/pencil icon to bring the tile back to the main row.
When this will not work
The flashlight cannot turn on while the camera app is actively using the rear lens, since both features rely on the same flash hardware. Close the camera first, then try the toggle again.
Battery saving modes on some OxygenOS versions can also limit background features, though the flashlight toggle itself usually stays available since it works independently of installed apps.
