Enable or Disable Camera Grid Lines auf OnePlus
Landscape and panorama shots often look tilted because the viewfinder gives no reference line for the horizon. OnePlus solves this with an optional Grid overlay built into the Camera app, not a system-wide setting.
To turn it on, open Camera app ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Grid. From there you can choose between 3 x 3, 4 x 4 or Golden ratio.
A 3x3 grid is the classic choice for aligning horizons and following the rule of thirds. The 4x4 pattern gives finer alignment for architecture or product shots, while the Golden ratio overlay is aimed at portrait and composition work where balanced framing matters more than a straight line.
The grid only appears in the viewfinder while shooting. It never gets baked into the saved photo, so switching it on has no effect on image quality or file size.
If you only need a straight horizon occasionally, cropping the photo afterward in a gallery editor works too, but the grid saves time by preventing tilted shots in the first place. To turn it off again, repeat the same path and set the option to none, if your camera version offers that choice, or simply ignore the overlay since it does not affect the final image.
