Enable or Disable Mirrored Selfie Photo auf OnePlus
Front cameras show a mirrored preview by default, since that matches what you see when you look in a mirror. The problem starts when the saved photo does not match that preview.
With Mirrored selfie photo enabled, the final image keeps the same orientation as the live preview. Text in the background, logos, or your part in the frame stay the way you saw them while framing the shot. With it disabled, the camera saves the photo the way other people actually see you, which flips any text or asymmetrical detail behind you.
You control this behavior directly in the camera settings on your OnePlus phone:
Open the Camera app ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Enable or disable Mirrored selfie photo
Toggle the option on if you prefer selfies that look exactly like your reflection, including any text or numbers behind you. Toggle it off if you want the photo to match how the scene actually looks from the outside, which matters most when a background sign, book cover, or wall clock needs to read correctly.
This setting only affects the front camera and has no effect on rear camera shots. It also does not change video calls or other apps that use the front camera, since those manage their own preview independently.
