Move Photos and Videos to an Album auf OnePlus
Every photo or video you shoot on a OnePlus phone lands in the default camera folder first, no matter which album you actually use for trips, work files or screenshots. Sorting these files by hand later costs time once the camera folder fills up.
The Gallery app includes a built-in option to relocate files directly into an existing album. This removes the file from the camera folder and places it in the album you choose. If you want the file to remain in both locations, use the copy option instead, which duplicates the file rather than moving it.
Move a photo or video to an album
Open the Gallery app ➔ Tap and hold a photo/video ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Move to ➔ Choose an album.
You can select multiple files before opening the menu, so the move applies to all of them at once. Files already backed up to a cloud service keep their backup status after the move, only the folder reference inside the backup updates. If a file needs to stay visible in the camera folder as well as an album, use the copy option shown next to Move to in the same menu.
