Pocket Mode: Enable or Disable auf OnePlus
Pocket mode is a background sensor check built into OxygenOS. It combines proximity, light, and motion data to guess when the phone is inside a pocket or bag, then locks the touchscreen and fingerprint reader until it senses the phone has been pulled back out.
With the protection active, calls placed from your pocket, apps opening on their own, or the screen lighting up without input usually stop happening. If it's switched off - often after a factory reset or a system update - the phone reacts to every brush against fabric as a real tap.
To check or change the current state, open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Utilities ➔ Enable or disable Pocket mode. Turn it on if you keep noticing random screen wake-ups or accidental dials from your pocket. Turn it off only if you rely on gesture shortcuts or notification previews that need the screen responsive while the phone is stowed.
Pocket mode adds a short delay before the display reacts once you pull the phone back out, since the sensor needs a moment to confirm it's no longer covered. If that delay bothers you more than the accidental touches did, disabling the feature is the better trade-off.
