Remove a Keyboard Language auf OnePlus
Gboard keeps every keyboard language you have ever added, even the ones you only tried once. Each extra layout shows up in the language switcher on your OnePlus, and scrolling through five or six entries just to find the one you actually type in gets tedious fast.
The layouts are stored inside Gboard's own settings, not in the general system language list, so removing one does not touch your device language or any app language settings. You only clean up the input method options.
To remove a keyboard language: Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Languages & input ➔ Tap on Virtual keyboard ➔ Tap on Gboard ➔ Tap on Languages ➔ Tap on Edit ➔ Choose one or more keyboard languages/layouts ➔ Tap on Delete.
You can select several languages at once in edit mode before tapping delete, which saves time if you added multiple layouts during setup. If you accidentally remove the last remaining keyboard language, Gboard automatically falls back to a default layout so you are never left without a working keyboard.
If you only want to stop a language from appearing temporarily instead of deleting it, disabling it on the same Languages screen is the better option since it keeps the layout ready for later use.
