Turn Do Not Disturb On or Off auf OnePlus
Do Not Disturb on a OnePlus phone works as a filter layer above your normal sound settings. It mutes incoming message tones, system notifications and alerts, and answers calls with a busy signal instead of letting them ring through.
This is different from simply lowering the volume or switching to silent mode with the physical slider. Silent mode only affects the ringer, while Do Not Disturb also controls vibration patterns and can still let selected contacts or apps through if exceptions are configured.
To switch the feature on or off, open Settings ➔ Sounds & vibration ➔ Do Not Disturb and use the toggle to enable or disable it.
If calls or messages are still getting through after enabling it, check whether any exceptions or priority senders are configured inside the same Do Not Disturb menu. If you only want to silence notifications temporarily without changing this setting, the volume slider or the notification shade toggle is usually the faster option.
One side effect worth knowing: with Do Not Disturb active, alarms may still sound depending on how the exceptions are set, so check this if you rely on the alarm clock overnight.
