Set Dark or Light Theme for the Messages App
If the Messages app on your Oppo phone still shows a bright white background at night, it is running the light theme regardless of your system-wide dark mode setting. ColorOS holds on to every network you have ever joined until you remove it yourself, which can cause slow reconnects or a jump to the wrong access point when two networks share a similar name.
Personal Hotspot: Change Name, Password and Band
Your Oppo phone activates a personal hotspot with a generic name and a default password, which is fine for a quick test but risky for daily use. If you want other people to recognize your hotspot easily or you need a stronger password, you have to adjust these settings yourself.
Restore Deleted Contacts from Trash Bin
A contact you deleted on your Oppo phone doesn't vanish right away. It sits in a hidden trash bin for 30 days, but only if account sync was switched on at the moment you deleted it. Without sync active beforehand, the entry never reaches that backup and recovery becomes much harder.
