Schedule Always-on Display
If your Oppo phone runs the Always-on Display around the clock, it keeps drawing power even while you sleep or leave the phone in a drawer. ColorOS lets you limit the Always-on Display to a fixed time window instead of showing it non-stop. Without a schedule, the clock and notifications stay visible on the lock screen at every hour, day and night.
Change SIM PIN
If you want to swap out a SIM PIN that is too easy to guess or matches an old default code, Oppo phones handle this through a dedicated lock screen for the card itself, separate from your phone unlock code. The catch is that ColorOS will not let you set a new PIN unless you can still enter the current one correctly. If that PIN has been forgotten, this menu will not help and a carrier unlock becomes necessary instead.
Change Default Event Duration in Calendar
If every new calendar entry on your Oppo phone comes out as a full hour, even for a quick call reminder, the default event length in Google Calendar is set too long. This gets worse when several accounts are linked, since each one can carry its own default. Manually shortening every single event afterward wastes time and gets annoying fast.
Add a New Contact
Saving a new number on your Oppo phone is not always obvious because the Add button in the Contacts app is easy to miss on a crowded contact list. Turn Mobile Data On or Off

ColorOS routes all cellular internet traffic through one single toggle, so a wrong access point can block traffic even when that toggle looks enabled. Turn Super Power Saving Mode On or Off
When your Oppo phone is stuck at a low charge and you need it to last through the rest of the day, Super power saving mode cuts almost everything non-essential. It switches the display to dark mode, limits which apps can run in the background, and pauses syncing to squeeze out extra runtime. That trade-off means notifications, widgets, and most third-party apps stop behaving normally until you switch the mode off again.
Turn Wi-Fi On or Off
If your Oppo phone won't connect to your home router or a public hotspot, the Wi-Fi radio itself might be switched off or stuck in a weird state. This also happens after a system update, when the toggle looks active but no networks show up. Before troubleshooting a specific network, it helps to confirm Wi-Fi is properly enabled or fully disabled first.
Turn On-body Detection On or Off
Your Oppo phone stays unlocked the whole time you are carrying it, even after you slide it into a pocket or bag. That is On-body detection at work, a Smart Lock feature that reads motion sensors instead of checking who is actually holding the device. Add Emergency Contacts for Emergency SOS
If Emergency SOS or emergency SMS on your Oppo phone only reaches the default 112 number, no personal emergency contact is stored yet. Without at least one saved contact, alerts and location messages during an SOS trigger won't go out to anyone you know.
Turn On/Off Screen-off Gestures
If double-tapping the display or drawing a quick O or V symbol does nothing while the screen is off, Screen-off gestures are probably disabled on your Oppo phone. Show or Hide World Clock Widget on Home Screen
Added several cities to the World Clock app but can't get them onto your home screen? On Oppo phones the World Clock only appears as a home screen widget once a specific system toggle is switched on, otherwise the app stays hidden from the widget drawer. If the widget refuses to show up, or you want to remove it without deleting your saved cities, one setting in Date & time decides that.
Turn Notification Badges On or Off Per App

Resize a Widget on the Home Screen
