TalkBack is the screen reader built into Realme UI that speaks aloud whatever is on screen and confirms every tap with audio feedback. It lets people with low vision or blindness operate the phone through touch exploration and specific gestures instead of relying on sight. Knowing how it changes basic navigation helps you judge whether it fits your needs or those of someone you support.
Change Keyboard Height
If the Gboard keyboard suddenly feels cramped or oversized after turning on the extra number row, typing accuracy drops fast. Keys sit closer together and thumb typing gets error-prone on smaller screens. Adjusting the keyboard height fixes the layout without turning that number row back off.
Set Default Keyboard Language
If you added several keyboard languages on your Realme phone, the wrong one often shows up first when you tap into a text field. Gboard always loads whichever language sits at the top of your saved list, so you end up swiping through languages every time you type. Reordering that list is what actually decides which language appears by default.
System and Software Update Settings

Screen Battery Optimization: Turn On or Off
If your realme phone dims colors, cuts animations, or looks flat right after you switch to a power saving mode, the screen battery optimization setting is behind it. This feature swaps between Off, Balanced Mode, and Super power saving mode, each stripping away display effects to a different degree. Turn On or Off Double Tap to Lock
Reaching for the power button every time you want to lock your Realme phone gets tiring fast, especially if the button sits awkwardly or wears out. If you already use a password, PIN or pattern, that lock still applies automatically after the tap.

Bluetooth Pairing Setup
If your headphones, earbuds or speaker will not connect to your Realme phone, the device usually needs to be paired first before it shows up as a regular connection. Some accessories also ask for a PIN code that has to be confirmed on both sides before the pairing goes through. Without this step, the phone keeps listing the device as unavailable even though Bluetooth is switched on.
Change AP Band for Personal Hotspot
If your Realme hotspot only broadcasts on 2.4 GHz, connected devices compete with every nearby router on that frequency and transfer speeds drop. Some laptops and streaming devices need the faster 5 GHz band to reach full throughput, but the AP band setting rarely gets touched after setup. Switching bands isn't obvious inside the Personal hotspot menu on Realme UI.
Set a Custom Ringtone from Your Own Audio Files

This usually comes down to how the Gallery app builds its share list and whether the receiving device is currently discoverable. Range and pairing status also affect which devices actually appear as available.
