Force Stop an App auf Realme
A frozen or unresponsive app on your Realme phone usually means the app process is stuck in memory and no longer reacting to touch input. Force stop is the Android-level command that kills that process outright, comparable to End task in Windows Task Manager.
When Force Stop Helps
Use Force stop only when an app has genuinely hung: the screen does not update, buttons do nothing, and closing it from the recent apps overview does not fix it either. It clears the frozen process from RAM so you can reopen the app fresh.
How to Force Stop an App
Open Settings ➔ App management ➔ App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Force stop ➔ Force stop to confirm. Confirming the prompt ends the app immediately.
Side Effects to Know
Force stop discards anything the app has not saved yet, including draft messages, unfinished uploads, or active login sessions. Some apps also lose scheduled notifications or background sync until you reopen them manually. If an app only feels slow rather than fully frozen, clearing its cache or restarting the phone is usually the gentler fix.
