When a printer does not show up automatically in the default print service on your Realme phone, the auto-discovery over Wi-Fi has failed to find it. Realme UI normally pulls these APN settings automatically from your SIM, but a carrier switch, a factory reset, or a corrupted profile can leave the field empty. Without a valid APN entry, your phone cannot establish a data connection at all.
Add and Manage Words in the Personal Dictionary
If the Realme keyboard keeps swapping out a name, abbreviation, or technical term for something else while you type, autocorrect is overriding a word it does not recognize. Adding that word to the personal dictionary stops the correction and lets you set a shortcut that expands into a full phrase.
Add Another Fingerprint
Only one finger enrolled means a wet thumb, a bandage, or an awkward grip angle can block Fingerprint unlock completely. Realme UI lets you store several fingerprints, so payments, App Lock and Private Safe keep working even when your usual finger fails to scan.
Add App Shortcuts to the Home Screen
If your realme home screen looks empty and every app only shows up in a separate drawer, the app drawer view is switched on. That is normal behavior, not a missing icon or a broken launcher. You just need to pull the apps you actually use onto the home screen yourself.
Add Date & Time to Watermark
If your photos only carry the phone model watermark without any timestamp, the 'Date & time' option inside the watermark settings is still switched off. Realme UI treats the model tag and the time stamp as separate toggles, so enabling one does not automatically activate the other. Once switched on, every new photo or video shows the exact capture date and time underneath the device watermark.
Add Emergency Contacts for Emergency SOS
If Emergency SOS on your Realme phone doesn't notify anyone when you trigger it, no emergency contacts have been saved yet. Without a stored contact, the automatic SOS message with your location and a short audio clip is never sent out. Realme UI only lists this option once Emergency SOS itself is switched on.
Add Emergency Information
If you collapse or end up in an accident, first responders have no way of knowing your blood type, allergies, or existing medical conditions. On a Realme phone this information can sit right on the lock screen, ready to view the moment someone taps the emergency call option.

Letting a family member or your kids use your Realme phone means their apps, photos and settings mix with yours on one shared account. Realme UI lets you create a separate profile so each person gets their own home screen, their own installed apps and their own personal data, kept apart from the main administrator account.
Add Recovery Email for Privacy Password
Locked out of your private safe because you forgot the privacy password? Without a recovery email saved in advance, Realme UI has no way to verify your identity and the Forgot password option stays greyed out. Adding an email address now is the only way to unlock a reset later.
Add Trusted Devices to Smart Lock
If your Realme phone locks again the moment you step away from your smartwatch, Smart Lock's trusted devices option is probably not set up yet. This feature keeps the lock screen skipped as long as a paired Bluetooth device, like a smartwatch, stays in range. It only works once the device has been paired over Bluetooth first, so a missing or failed pairing is usually the reason it does not trigger.

If your Realme phone locks itself the moment you sit down at your desk or walk through your front door, Smart Lock's trusted places feature is likely switched off. This function keeps the device unlocked at chosen locations, such as home or work, even when an automatic screen lock timer is active. Without it, you end up entering your PIN or pattern dozens of times a day in places you already trust.
