Add App Shortcuts to the Home Screen auf Realme
On a realme phone with the app drawer enabled, the home screen starts empty on purpose. Realme UI keeps every installed app inside a separate drawer, so only apps you place manually appear as icons on the home screen.
To add a shortcut, open the app list first: Swipe upwards to open the app drawer. Find the app you want, then Tap and hold an App until it detaches from the grid.
Keep holding and Drag the App upwards toward the home screen area. Once the home screen preview appears behind it, Release the App to position it on the Home screen at the spot you want.
The app still stays in the drawer. Dragging it out only creates a shortcut icon on the home screen, it does not move or remove the app from the full app list.
Icons placed this way can be repositioned freely afterward. Press and hold any home screen icon, then drag it to a new spot, another page, or into a folder with other apps.
If you would rather see every app icon directly on the home screen without using the drawer at all, check your home screen layout settings and switch to a standard home screen layout instead.
