Turn Automatic App Updates On or Off auf Realme
Automatic app updates on realme phones run through the Play Store, not through Realme UI itself. By default, Play Store checks for updates and installs them whenever a Wi-Fi connection is active, which can slow down other tasks or trigger background data use if an app is downloading a large update.
To change this, open Play Store and tap the Google account icon. Go to Settings ➔ Network preferences ➔ Auto-update apps. Three options appear: Over any network, Over Wi-Fi only, and Don't auto-update apps. Select the one you want and confirm with Done.
Over any network keeps apps current fastest but can use mobile data. Over Wi-Fi only is the safer default for limited data plans. Don't auto-update apps gives full manual control but means security patches for individual apps only install when you open Play Store and update them yourself.
This setting applies to all apps installed from Play Store at once. Individual apps can still be excluded or force-updated manually from their own store listing regardless of the global choice.
