Uninstall App Updates auf Realme
When a Realme app starts crashing, freezing, or acting strange right after an update, the update itself is often the cause rather than the phone.
Uninstalling that update resets the app to the version that shipped with your device, without touching files or settings from other apps.
This works for many pre-installed system apps, since Realme UI manages their updates separately from the base firmware, and for regular apps you installed from the Play Store.
To uninstall an app update on your Realme phone: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Uninstall updates ➔ Tap on OK.
Reboot your device once the uninstall finishes. This clears leftover cache tied to the removed update and makes sure the app starts clean.
If the app crashes again right after the update reinstalls itself from an app store, the update is likely broken, and waiting for a fixed release is the better option instead of a factory reset.
Some critical system apps do not offer this option at all, since removing their updates could affect the stability of the phone.
