Manage App Permissions auf Realme
Every app on a Realme phone declares which system resources it wants to use, such as storage, location, camera or contacts. Realme UI, built on Android, controls these requests through a central permission manager rather than letting each app decide on its own.
If a permission was denied once, the app often loses core functionality silently. A camera app without camera access shows a black preview, a messaging app without contacts access cannot suggest recipients. Realme UI does not always resend the request automatically, so the fix has to happen manually in settings.
To review or change a permission, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Tap on Permissions ➔ Select a Permission ➔ Choose an Option.
Each permission type offers different options, such as allowing access only while the app is in use, always, or never. Location and camera permissions on newer builds may also offer a one-time option.
Granting every permission by default is not the safer choice. Apps with unnecessary access to contacts or location run background checks more often, which drains battery and increases data usage. Reviewing permissions periodically keeps both privacy and performance under control.
