Set an App Timer to Limit Screen Time auf Realme
App timers in Realme UI let you cap how long a specific app can run each day. Once the time runs out, the app closes itself and stays greyed out until midnight, when Digital Wellbeing resets all counters.
This works differently from Focus Mode or Bedtime Mode, which block whole groups of apps on a fixed schedule instead of tracking daily usage per app. Use an app timer when you want a hard cap on one specific app - a game or a social media app, for example - without touching anything else on the phone.
To set it up, open Settings ➔ Digital Wellbeing & parental controls ➔ Dashboard ➔ Timer. Pick the app you want to limit, set the daily duration, then confirm with OK. The timer only counts active foreground use, not background activity or push notifications.
Once the limit is reached, the app icon shows a small hourglass and opening it displays a lock screen with the remaining wait time. You can remove or extend the limit at any point from the same Dashboard screen, but if the app is already locked, the change only takes effect the next day.
