Auto-start Apps: Allow or Deny auf Realme
After every reboot, Realme UI reloads more than just the operating system. Apps flagged for auto-launch start quietly in the background, competing for RAM and battery before you open anything.
Realme UI keeps a dedicated list of these apps under App management. If too many entries stay switched on, the phone feels slower right after startup and background data usage climbs.
How to check and change auto-launch permissions
Open Settings ➔ App management ➔ Auto-launch apps. The list shows every installed app together with a toggle.
Switch an app off to block it from starting on its own after boot. Switch it back on if a messenger or fitness tracker needs to run in the background to deliver notifications on time.
Turning off non-essential apps here does not close them permanently or remove them from the device. It only stops them from launching automatically; you can still open them manually anytime.
Disabling auto-launch for apps that rely on real-time alerts, such as banking or delivery apps, can delay notifications. Test changes one app at a time and watch for missed alerts over the next day.
