Realme: Run the Battery Optimization Tool

Battery drain on a Realme phone usually comes from a mix of background apps, screen brightness, and connectivity settings running longer than they need to. Realme UI includes an automated battery analysis that checks these factors together instead of making you hunt through separate menus.

To start it, open Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Save power ➔ Extend battery by.... The system scans installed apps, active background processes, and current power settings, then returns a list of individual optimization suggestions.

Each suggestion shows up with its own toggle, so you decide which change to apply. This matters if you rely on a specific app running in the background, for example a messenger or fitness tracker, since blocking it could delay notifications or pause tracking.

Run the analysis after installing new apps or when you notice a sudden drop in screen-on time. If drain continues after applying every suggestion, check the battery usage list for a single app consuming unusual power, since that points to an app bug rather than a system setting.
