Turn On/Off Ultra Standby Mode auf Realme
Realme UI manages background activity through a feature called Optimized Standby. It decides whether apps stay active after the screen locks or get suspended to save power.
Three modes are available. Ultra standby mode closes almost all background apps once the phone is idle, which noticeably extends battery life but can delay messages, calls, or sync from apps that rely on constant background access. Balanced mode is the default compromise: it still limits background activity but allows more apps to keep running normally. Off disables these restrictions entirely, letting every app run freely in the background — useful for testing notification delays, but it increases battery drain.
To change the mode, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Battery ➔ Tap on More battery settings ➔ Tap on Optimized standby ➔ Choose Ultra standby mode, Balanced mode or Off ➔ Tap on Turn on.
If specific apps stop sending notifications after switching to Ultra standby mode, check the app's individual battery settings first before turning Optimized Standby off completely. That way you keep the battery savings for every other app while excluding just the one that needs to stay active.
