Turn On/Off Data Saving auf Realme
Data saving on Realme UI restricts network access for apps running in the background. Once enabled, only the app you currently have open can use mobile data freely; everything else waits until you switch back to it or connect to Wi-Fi.
This explains two common symptoms. First, chat and mail apps that suddenly deliver messages late or only after you open them manually. Second, a mobile data allowance that empties faster than expected because the toggle got turned off, either during a system update or by accident.
To change the setting, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on SIM card & mobile data ➔ Tap on Data usage ➔ Tap on Data saving ➔ Enable or disable Data saving ➔ Tap on Turn on.
Turn the feature on if you want to stretch a limited data plan and can live with delayed background updates. Turn it off if messaging apps, cloud backups, or navigation tools need constant background access, for example while traveling or when using turn-by-turn directions.
Some apps let you add exceptions so they keep background data even while Data saving stays active for everything else. Check the same Data usage screen for a per-app toggle if one specific app keeps missing notifications.
