Realme: Change the Region in System Settings

If your realme phone still shows the region picked during initial setup, apps like maps, weather, or the app store may show content meant for the wrong country. You do not need to reset the phone to fix this - the region is just a separate setting from language and time zone.

Change Region in Settings auf Realme

The region on a realme phone is set once during initial setup, but it is not locked afterward. Many users assume changing it requires a factory reset, since it feels similar to language selection during onboarding. That is not the case - region is a standalone setting under Realme UI that can be changed anytime.

Region affects which store listings, weather sources, and some default apps appear on the device. It is separate from language and separate from time zone, so changing it will not reset your display language or your clock settings.

To change it, open Tap on SettingsTap on Additional settingsTap on Language & regionTap on RegionSet the Region. Pick the correct country from the list and confirm.

After switching, some apps may need to be reopened or restarted before they reflect the new region. If an app store still shows the old country catalog, check whether that app has its own separate region setting, since some apps manage this independently from the system setting.

Frequently asked questions

No. Language and region are separate settings under Tap on Language & region. Changing the region only affects region-specific content, not the interface language.
