Realme: Show or Hide World Clock on Home Screen

Added cities in the World Clock app do not automatically show up on the Realme home screen. Without the matching widget switched on, the status bar still only shows your local time, even though several time zones are already saved. Once visible, the widget behaves like any other home screen element and can be moved or resized freely.

Show or Hide the World Clock Widget on the Home Screen auf Realme

On Realme phones running Realme UI, the World Clock app and the World Clock home screen widget are controlled separately. Adding a city inside the World Clock app does not place it on the home screen automatically. A dedicated system toggle decides whether the widget is visible at all.

This separation causes confusion when a city was added correctly but never appears outside the app. It also explains why disabling the widget does not remove the saved cities themselves; it only hides the display element.

Where the toggle is located

The setting sits under Tap on SettingsTap on Additional settingsTap on Date & timeEnable or disable Home screen world clock. Switching it on adds the widget to your widget list; switching it off removes it from the home screen without touching the app data.

Once enabled, treat the widget like any other home screen item: long-press to move it, drag its edges to resize it, or remove it again by dragging it to the remove option. If the widget still shows only one city after enabling it, add more cities inside the World Clock app first, since the widget only displays what is already saved there.

Frequently asked questions

The widget only displays cities that are already saved inside the World Clock app. Open the app, add the missing cities, then check the widget again; it updates automatically once new cities are stored.
