Allow or Deny Messages in Do Not Disturb auf Realme
Do Not Disturb on Realme UI treats calls and messages as two separate exception lists. Setting a call exception does not automatically cover text messages or app notifications, which is why alerts can still arrive with sound and vibration even though the phone is supposedly silenced.
The 'Allow messages from' option decides which senders are allowed to break through. You find it under Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Tap on Do Not Disturb ➔ Tap on Allow messages from. From there you choose Anyone, Contacts, Starred contacts only or No one.
Anyone lets every message through, which defeats most of the purpose of Do Not Disturb. Contacts only allows people saved in your address book, useful for filtering out spam or unknown numbers. Starred contacts only narrows this further to people you have manually marked as favorites, ideal during meetings or at night. No one silences every message notification without exception.
This setting applies only while Do Not Disturb is active. Once you turn the mode off, all apps notify normally again regardless of the choice made here.
