Add Emergency Contacts for Emergency SOS auf Realme
Emergency SOS on Realme phones only works if at least one contact is stored for it. That contact receives an automatic message with your current location and a short audio recording as soon as you trigger a quick emergency call. Without a saved number, the feature stays silent even after being switched on.
You manage this list inside the security settings, separate from your regular phone contacts. This keeps the SOS list short and lets you pick only the people who should actually be alerted in an emergency, such as family members or a close friend.
Where to add emergency contacts
Go to Settings ➔ Security ➔ Emergency SOS ➔ Emergency call ➔ Emergency numbers ➔ Add emergency contact, then Choose a Contact from your address book.
Each contact you add here becomes a recipient for the automatic SOS message. If nobody is listed, triggering SOS still places the emergency call, but no location or audio clip goes out to anyone.
If you only need a fast way to dial local emergency services without notifying anyone, you do not need this list at all. Setting it up matters mainly when you want a specific person informed the moment SOS is triggered, not just the emergency line.
