Turn On/Off Emergency SOS Quick Access auf Realme
Emergency SOS quick access on Realme phones lets you trigger an emergency call by pressing the Power button five times in quick succession. The feature is tied to a predefined emergency number based on your region and language, set automatically by Realme UI.
This shortcut is meant to work even when the screen is locked, which is useful in a real emergency but can also cause accidental calls if the Power button gets pressed repeatedly in a pocket or bag.
To turn the feature on or off, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on Emergency SOS ➔ Tap on Emergency call ➔ Enable or disable Emergency call quick access.
Disabling the toggle stops the five-press shortcut from dialing out, but you can still reach emergency services manually through the lock screen or dialer. If your phone is not calling the correct regional number, check your SIM and region settings instead of this toggle, since the predefined number depends on that configuration rather than the quick access feature itself.
Keep the shortcut enabled if you or someone using the phone might need a fast way to call for help without unlocking the device first.
