Realme: Set Up Fixed Dialing Numbers for Calls

Fixed Dialing Numbers (FDN) restricts your Realme phone to a fixed list of contacts for outgoing calls. Incoming calls and emergency numbers stay unaffected, but every other outgoing number gets blocked once the list is active.

The feature sits behind your SIM PIN2, a second security code separate from your regular unlock PIN. Carriers issue PIN2 with the SIM card, and if you never received it, you need to contact your provider before FDN can be turned on.

To reach the setting, follow this path:

Tap on Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Calling accounts ➔ Tap on Carrier call settings ➔ Tap on Fixed dialing numbers ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➔ Tap on Enable FDN and follow the instructions on screen.

On dual SIM devices, pick the correct SIM first, since FDN applies per SIM card and not globally. After enabling FDN, you add every number that should still be reachable; any number missing from that list gets rejected the moment you dial it.

FDN is not the right fix if you only want to silence spam calls or block specific callers. For that, use call blocking or blacklists instead, since FDN affects every number that is not explicitly whitelisted.
