Turn Captions On or Off auf Realme
Realme UI includes a system-wide caption feature built into the Android accessibility settings. This is separate from app-specific subtitles in services like YouTube or Netflix, which usually rely on their own subtitle track.
When system captions are turned off, only apps that specifically request the Android caption service can show them. Nothing appears during phone calls, voice messages, or in apps without built-in subtitle support.
To turn captions on or off, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Caption preferences and use the toggle to enable or disable Captions. Once active, choose one of the predefined styles: Set by app, White on black, Black on white, or Yellow on black. Exact naming may vary slightly by region.
Text size and font can be adjusted on the same screen, independent of the color preset. These settings apply system-wide, so any app that supports Android's caption rendering picks up your chosen style automatically.
If subtitles are missing only inside a specific streaming app, check that app's own subtitle menu first. Many apps override the system style with their own subtitle track and settings, so the Accessibility toggle will not change anything there.
