Change the Home Screen Swipe-Down Gesture auf Realme
On Realme phones, swiping down on a free area of the home screen triggers one of two actions: opening the app and content search, or pulling down the notification drawer. Which one runs is controlled by a dedicated home screen setting, separate from the status bar gesture.
If this setting is left on the default, a swipe on empty home screen space can feel redundant with the status bar swipe, since both would open the notification drawer. Switching it to search gives you a quicker way to find apps, contacts, or content without opening the app drawer first.
Where to change it
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Home screen & Lock screen ➔ Tap on Swipe down on Home screen ➔ Choose Search or Notification drawer.
Pick Search if you want the gesture to open the search bar for apps and content. Pick Notification drawer if you prefer quick access to notifications from anywhere on the home screen.
This setting only affects swipes on empty home screen space. Swiping down from the status bar at the top of the screen always opens the notification and quick settings panel, regardless of what you choose here.
