Realme: Change the Touch & Hold Delay

Realme UI ties every touch-and-hold action - opening a shortcut menu on an app icon, dragging a home screen widget, or triggering a long-press gesture inside an app - to one shared system timer. If that timer is too short, a normal tap can accidentally register as a hold and move an icon instead of showing its menu. If it is too long, you might let go too early and miss the extra options entirely.

The setting lives under Accessibility because it was originally meant for people who need more time to register a hold gesture, but it actually affects every app and every home screen action on the phone.

To change it, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Touch & hold delay and pick Short, Medium or Long.

Short suits people who rearrange icons often and want shortcut menus to appear instantly. Long helps if you keep triggering hold menus by accident while scrolling, typing, or swiping through lists.

If long-press actions still misfire after switching this value, the problem likely sits inside that specific app's own gesture handling rather than in this system-wide delay, and this setting will not change that behavior.
