Key Long-Press Delay auf Realme
The key long-press delay controls how long you need to hold a letter on the Gboard keyboard before the pop-up with accented letters, numbers, or symbols appears. On Realme UI this value sits between 100 ms and 700 ms. A short delay suits fast typists who want quick access to special characters, but it can also trigger the pop-up by accident during normal typing. A longer delay avoids accidental symbol insertion, but makes accessing accents or digits feel sluggish.
To adjust it, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Keyboard & input method ➔ Tap on Gboard ➔ Tap on Preferences ➔ Tap on Key long press delay. Move the slider to the value that fits your typing speed, then confirm with Set the Key long press delay and tap on OK.
If characters still appear unexpectedly after changing this setting, check whether autocorrect or a third-party keyboard app is interfering, since this delay only applies to the built-in Gboard long-press behavior.
