Show/Hide Language Switch Key auf Realme
Realme phones running Realme UI on Android rely on Gboard for multilingual typing. When several keyboard languages are installed, Gboard can show a small language switch key directly left of the space bar. Without it, changing the active language means long-pressing the space bar or diving back into keyboard settings each time.
The switch key setting lives inside Gboard preferences, separate from the general system keyboard list. Enabling it only makes sense once at least two languages are added to your keyboard; otherwise the key has nothing to switch between and stays inactive.
One limitation matters here: the language switch key and the emoji switch key share the same spot on the keyboard row. Turning one on disables the other, so you have to pick whichever shortcut you use more often.
To show or hide it, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Keyboard & input method ➔ Gboard ➔ Preferences, then enable or disable Show language switch key. The change applies immediately across every app that uses Gboard, no restart needed.
If typing feels slow only in specific apps, check whether that app forces a different keyboard before assuming Gboard settings are the cause.
