Show or Hide the Suggestion Strip in Gboard auf Realme
The suggestion strip sits directly above the keyboard and shows predicted words as you type on your Realme phone. It comes from Gboard, the default keyboard app used on Realme UI, not from the system Language & Input settings directly.
Some people rely on it to speed up typing by tapping a suggested word instead of finishing it. Others find it distracting, especially when it keeps changing while composing a message, or when it takes up space they would rather use for the keyboard itself.
You can turn this strip on or off inside the Gboard text correction settings. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Keyboard & input method ➔ Tap on Gboard ➔ Tap on Text correction ➔ Enable or disable Show suggestion strip.
Disabling the strip does not turn off autocorrect. It only removes the row of suggested words above the keys. If autocorrect itself is the actual problem, look for a separate toggle inside the same Text correction menu instead.
If you switch keyboard apps later, this setting will not carry over, since it belongs to Gboard specifically and not to the phone's general keyboard settings.
