Restore a Local Backup auf Realme
A local backup on your Realme phone lives in the internal storage, not in the cloud. This makes it useful after a factory reset, a storage cleanup, or when you switched apps and want older contacts or messages back without touching everything else.
Realme UI treats every local backup as a package with separate categories, so you are not forced to restore the whole file. You can bring back just your contacts, for example, while leaving app data and system settings untouched.
To restore a backup, go to Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Back up and reset ➔ Back up & restore and choose Local backup. Select the backup file, then check or uncheck the individual data types you want restored before tapping Start.
Restoring works best right after a reset, before you install new apps or make changes that could conflict with the incoming data. If the backup file is missing from the list, it may have been deleted during a storage cleanup or stored on an SD card that is no longer inserted.
This function only restores data created on the same device. If you are moving from another phone brand, use a cross-device transfer tool instead of a local backup.
