Lock or Unlock Home Screen Layout auf Realme
On Realme phones, app icons can move on their own when a new app installs, an update runs, or you accidentally long-press and drag while unlocking the phone. Realme UI has a dedicated toggle that freezes the current home screen arrangement, including icon positions inside folders and widget placement.
This lock works independently of whether you use an app drawer or keep every app spread across multiple home screens. Once enabled, dragging an icon will not move it, and new apps get added without shifting existing ones out of place.
How to enable or disable the lock
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Home screen & Lock screen ➔ Enable or disable Home screen locked. Switch the toggle on to freeze the layout, or off to allow icons and widgets to be rearranged again.
Keep in mind that locking the layout also prevents some launcher customizations, like resizing widgets or moving app icons between folders, until you unlock it again. If you only want to stop specific apps from being uninstalled or hidden rather than freeze the whole layout, this setting is not the right fix, since it purely controls icon and widget positioning.
