Set Custom Notification Sounds per App auf Realme
Realme UI applies one shared notification sound to every app by default, which is why messages, reminders and system alerts often sound identical. The system stores sound preferences per notification category inside each app, not in one central place, so changing the global tone in the sound settings does not override an app that already has its own sound assigned.
To set a distinct sound for a single app, open Settings ➔ Notifications & status bar ➔ Manage notifications ➔ Choose an App. Apps with multiple notification categories, such as chat apps that separate messages from group alerts, list each category separately. Pick the relevant category, then tap on Ringtone ➔ Choose a Ringtone/Notification sound to assign a new tone just for that category.
This approach is useful when you need to recognize a specific app by sound alone, without unlocking your phone. If an app has several categories and you want the same sound across all of them, you have to repeat the steps for each category individually, since the change does not apply globally within the app.
