Turn Google Voice Typing On or Off auf Realme
Google voice typing lives inside the keyboard settings rather than as its own app, which is why the option is easy to miss when you want to dictate a message on your Realme phone.
The feature is part of the keyboard management system in Realme UI. When the toggle is off, the microphone icon disappears from your keyboard, and every SMS, MMS, or e-mail has to be typed by hand.
To turn it on, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Keyboard & input method ➔ Manage keyboards, then switch on Google voice typing.
Restart your phone right after enabling the toggle. Skipping the restart is the most common reason the microphone option still looks disabled or does not respond inside the keyboard.
Turning it off works the same way: open the same menu and switch the toggle off again. This only removes the microphone icon from the keyboard row and leaves autocorrect, language packs, and other keyboard settings untouched.
If dictation still fails after restarting, check the microphone permission for your keyboard app and confirm you have an active internet connection, since Google voice typing needs one to process speech.
