Turn Secure Keyboard On or Off for Password Input auf Realme
Realme UI adds a secure keyboard layer that activates automatically in password fields, PIN entry screens, and some banking apps. It blocks screenshots, screen recordings, and third-party keyboard apps from capturing what you type, replacing your usual keyboard with a stripped-down system keyboard for that one input field.
This protection works independently from screen lock or biometric security. It targets the exact moment you type a password, closing a gap that malware or spyware could otherwise use to log keystrokes or capture the screen during login.
The feature can get in the way if you rely on a custom keyboard with autofill, glide typing, or a password manager integration, since none of those work while the secure keyboard is active. It also breaks screen recordings for tutorials that need to show a password field, and some remote support tools lose the ability to mirror that part of the screen.
To change the setting, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Keyboard & input method ➔ Enable or disable Use secure keyboard for password input. Turning it off restores your normal keyboard everywhere, including password fields, but removes the extra protection against screen capture and keylogging attempts.
