Turn Mistouch Prevention On or Off auf Realme
On a Realme phone running Android with Realme UI, the edges of the touchscreen can register unintended taps when you hold the device in landscape mode, especially during gaming or video playback. A stray thumb near the bezel can trigger a swipe that the system reads as a navigation command, closing the app or switching to another one.
Mistouch prevention adds a short verification step to swipe gestures. Instead of acting on every touch immediately, the system checks whether the gesture matches a deliberate swipe pattern before executing it. One-off touches near the screen edge get ignored, while a normal, intentional swipe still works as expected.
You find the toggle under Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Convenience tools ➔ Tap on Navigation ➔ Enable or disable Mistouch prevention. Turn it on if you notice random app switches or gesture navigation firing on its own in landscape apps. Turn it off again if gesture navigation feels delayed or unresponsive, since the extra check adds a small bit of latency to every swipe.
This setting only affects gesture-based navigation. If you use the three-button navigation bar instead, Mistouch prevention has no effect, and repeated accidental input usually points to a case or screen protector covering the edge sensors.
