Realme: Delete a User Account

If a family member or friend no longer uses your Realme phone but their profile still takes up storage or shows outdated apps and data, removing that user account fixes it. Deleting a profile wipes every setting, app, and file tied to it at once, so it is worth double-checking before you confirm. Only the phone's administrator can do this, and the guest profile cannot be removed the same way.

Delete a User Account auf Realme

Realme phones let one administrator manage several user profiles, each with its own apps, settings, and files. Removing a profile that is no longer needed frees up storage and keeps the user list clean, but the action cannot be undone.

You find the option under Tap on SettingsTap on Users & accountsTap on Multiple usersTap on SettingsTap on Delete userTap on Delete user to confirm.

Only the administrator account sees this option. Standard users cannot delete their own profile or any other, and the guest profile has no delete option since it resets automatically after each use.

Once confirmed, all apps, accounts, files, and settings stored inside that user profile are removed immediately from the device. There is no recovery option afterward, so back up anything important before starting the deletion.

If you only want to pause access temporarily instead of deleting everything, switching to the guest profile or simply logging the user out is the better choice.

Frequently asked questions
