Turn NFC On or Off auf Realme
NFC on Realme phones sits inside the connectivity stack together with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct, but it only works over a few centimeters of range. If contactless payment apps or file transfers between devices stop responding, the radio itself is usually switched off rather than faulty.
You control the chip through Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connection & sharing ➔ Enable or disable NFC. This single toggle governs every NFC-dependent function on the device, including tap-to-pay, smart tag scanning and quick pairing with NFC accessories.
Turning NFC off saves a small amount of battery and stops any accidental data exchange when the phone brushes against another NFC surface, which is useful on crowded public transport. Turning it back on restores payment apps and tag scanning right away, no restart needed.
If the toggle stays greyed out after you enable it, check that Airplane mode isn't overriding the radio and that no security app has locked the setting. When a payment still fails despite an active toggle, the problem usually sits in the banking app's own card setup rather than in this switch.
