Turn USB-OTG On or Off auf Realme
USB-OTG (On-The-Go) lets your Realme phone act as a host for USB-C accessories such as a mouse, a keyboard, or a flash drive. When the accessory doesn't show up after plugging it in, the OTG toggle inside the system settings is usually turned off.
Realme UI keeps this switch tucked away from the main connectivity menu because most people never need it. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Enable or disable OTG connection and turn it on.
Once enabled, the phone supplies power and a data connection through the USB-C port, so storage devices and input peripherals work directly. Some Realme models only expose OTG briefly after a cable is connected and switch it off again automatically to save battery, which can look like the setting reset on its own.
If the accessory still isn't recognized after enabling OTG, check the cable and adapter first. Many charging-only cables don't support data transfer, and a cheap or damaged USB-C to USB-A adapter is a more common failure point than the software setting itself.
Leave OTG switched off when you don't need it. It reduces the attack surface for unauthorized USB devices and slightly extends standby time.
