Set a Data Limit for the Personal Hotspot auf Realme
Tracking hotspot usage gets difficult once several devices connect to your phone at the same time. Realme UI includes a built-in data restriction for the personal hotspot, so the connection switches off automatically after a fixed volume is used.
Set the data limit
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connection & sharing ➔ Tap on Personal hotspot ➔ Tap on Connection management ➔ Tap on Data restriction ➔ Set a Data restriction. Enter the amount of data you want to allow before the hotspot turns off.
Once that amount is reached, Realme UI disables the hotspot by itself, which stops connected devices from pulling any more mobile data through the shared connection. Switching the hotspot back on manually does not reset the counter, so the restriction still tracks the total volume used since you last changed the value.
A fixed limit is useful on prepaid or capped plans where extra usage leads to additional charges. If several people share the same hotspot regularly, setting a lower limit helps avoid surprise costs at the end of the billing cycle.
