Limit Personal Hotspot Connections auf Realme
Personal hotspot on Realme phones has no fixed limit on connected devices by default. Every phone, tablet or laptop that knows your password can join, which speeds up data usage and slows the shared connection for everyone.
Setting a maximum number of allowed connections keeps this under control. You can restrict the hotspot to as few as one device or allow up to ten, depending on how many people regularly need access.
Where to set the connection limit
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connection & sharing ➔ Tap on Personal hotspot ➔ Tap on Connection management ➔ Tap on Maximum allowed connections. From here, Set the Maximum allowed connections to any value between one and ten.
If you disable the limit, the hotspot accepts connections until you turn it off or run out of mobile data. A low limit is useful when you share data occasionally and want to avoid unexpected guests. A higher limit makes sense for households sharing one data plan across several devices.
Once the limit is reached, additional devices cannot connect until an existing connection is dropped or the limit is raised again. This does not affect devices already connected, only new connection attempts.
