Allow or Deny Picture-in-Picture per App auf Realme
Picture-in-Picture lets a video keep playing in a small floating window while you use another app. On Realme phones this is not a single global switch. Each app has its own Picture-in-Picture permission, managed through the app management section of the system settings.
If a video from YouTube, Netflix or a similar media app stops the moment you leave it, that specific app is missing the permission. Realme UI blocks the floating overlay by default for many apps to save memory and battery, so you have to switch it on per app.
To check or change it, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Tap on Picture-in-picture ➔ Enable or disable Picture-in-Picture. Once enabled, the floating window can be dragged anywhere on screen and resized by dragging its corner.
Turning the permission off again is useful if an app keeps opening a floating window you never asked for, or if you want to save battery on an older device. Not every app supports this feature at all, even when the toggle is present in settings.
