Erase All Downloaded Apps and Their Data auf Realme
Realme UI separates two types of reset: a full factory reset that wipes the entire device, and a targeted option that only removes apps you installed yourself along with their stored data. System apps that came preinstalled on the phone stay untouched.
This distinction matters when a phone feels cluttered or slow because of accumulated app data, but the Wi-Fi networks, accounts, display settings and other system preferences should stay exactly as configured.
To erase only the downloaded apps and their data, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Back up and reset ➔ Tap on Erase all data (factory reset) ➔ Tap on Erase downloaded apps and their data ➔ Tap on Erase data.
After confirming, Realme UI removes every app you added after setup, along with its cache, logins and saved files inside that app. You will need to reinstall and sign back into each app afterward.
If the actual issue is a corrupted system setting, a stuck update, or persistent glitches across the whole interface, this option will not help. In that case a full factory reset under the same menu is the more reliable fix, since it also resets system-level configurations that this method leaves in place.
