Realme: Reset System Settings Without Losing Your Data

When several settings on your Realme phone stop working as expected, tracking down which one is causing the problem takes time. Instead of testing every menu individually or wiping the whole device, you can reset just the system settings back to their factory state.

This function restores display, sound, network, gesture, and other system-level preferences to default. It does not touch your photos, videos, installed apps, contacts, or account logins. Only configuration values change, not stored data.

To run the reset, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Back up and reset ➔ Erase all data (factory reset) ➔ Reset system settings only ➔ Reset system settings only to confirm.

After confirming, the phone applies default values immediately, no restart is required. Custom Wi-Fi networks, mobile data preferences, sound profiles, and display customizations return to their original state.

Use this option when a specific setting misbehaves after an update or manual change, but keep in mind it will not fix issues caused by installed apps or corrupted user data. If the problem persists after the reset, a full factory reset may be the next step.
