Change Notification Sound auf Realme
Realme UI applies one default notification sound across the system. Every app that does not define its own alert tone, including many messaging and mail apps, falls back to this shared sound.
That is why SMS, email and some third-party notifications can sound identical even though the apps themselves are unrelated. Changing this default sound updates the alert for all apps that rely on it, not just one.
How to change it
Open Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ Notification sound ➔ Choose a Notification sound. Realme UI lists the pre-installed tones directly in this menu, and tapping any entry plays a short preview before you confirm it.
The new tone applies immediately after selection. No restart is required.
If you only want a different sound for one specific app, such as WhatsApp, check that app's own notification settings first. Many apps let you override the system default with an app-specific sound, which takes priority over the setting made here.
Custom audio files stored on the phone can sometimes be selected too, depending on where they are saved, but the built-in list only shows the pre-installed sounds by default.
