Realme: Change Ringtone for Calls and Notifications

Every incoming call on a realme phone plays whatever tone is stored under sound settings, and that tone stays completely separate from notification sounds, message alerts or alarm tones. If you only swap the general system sound, calls and notifications can keep sounding identical, which becomes confusing on dual SIM units where each SIM slot has its own ringtone assignment.

To change it, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Tap on Ringtone ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➔ Choose a Ringtone. On dual SIM devices you repeat the SIM selection step for the second slot if you want a different tone for it.

This menu only changes the call ringtone. If notifications, messages or alarms still sound wrong, those use their own separate sound entry and are not affected by this change. Custom audio files used as ringtones need to stay on the device; moving or deleting them makes Realme UI fall back to a default tone automatically.
